1. Sticky:New dev blog: Unified Inventory Changes - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I mainly shoot people. So I don't have the issues that the industry folks do. But its still soooo annoying. Just setting up a ship to undock, checking the hold, scrolling all the way down to the item hangar, dragging ammo back up and the window sw...

3. Winferno is coming - are you ready? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Spot on that man. It is a bit like Windows. And like Microsoft, they try to make things look nicer and be a bit more acessible to new comers, but in the process make more work for people who are familiar with the systems (the ridiculous ribbons i...

4. Sticky:EVE Online: Crucible 1.2 Issues - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
And stuff actually appears in the wrong place... Await an uncloak, expecting it to be top of the overview (because sorted by distance) and it appears at the bottom, then sorts 3 seconds later. Then you kill it, and the pod appears BELOW everythi...

5. Sticky:EVE Online: Crucible 1.2 Issues - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Why mess up the overview CCP? Its been flaky for some time, but now I can't see half the stuff I used to. Why have stargate in brackets before the name of the stargate? That way when you shrink the field, you can just see "stargate"... The overv...

6. Having to refit every time I get into a ship is p cool - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Eve is complicated. Massively so. When patches are applied, it is actually pretty unreasonable to whine at inevitable unforeseen glitches, extra extended downtimes, early stability problems etc. But this is quite remarkable. A well known issue, w...

7. Gate Camps... - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
One extra point- when burning back to the gate, consider using the AP to avoid misclicks, laggy clicks, bouncing off the gate and finding yourself out of range to jump etc:- IE- set the gate as your next waypoint, whilst remaining cloaked. When s...

8. How did you learn to PvP? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Everyone makes the right basic point- time and practice is what allows you to learn. No other way. Even now, 8/10 of my losses are, with hindsight, mistakes. With time you just learn to realise what those mistakes are and what you could have done ...

The point is that adapting to these changes does not neccessarily require you to retrain and stop using missiles... Hint: work out how to use them in the new context.

Lachesis plus huggin= very swift shut down and web. And = largely the same effect as previously. 90% web on a domi doing 1000 ms with a mwd = 100ms 60% web, but with the MWD shut down, = less than 100ms (note to pedants- the figures are very r...

Absolutely Ackwell. Though that is why the Lachesis is now lovely- given the additional range available on its scrammers. I have some Lachesis for sale if anyone wants one :-)

Id take extreme care over trading skillbooks in a shuttle. 1- you wont necessariyl know whats going to seel well and where- and 2- all it takes is one Smartbombing asshat near a gate and your shuttle is toast.

19. Advice for a new player on an old account? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
You can quite reaosnably give him specific rtoles in a pvp corp / gang in sensible ships. Have him fly BCs, tacklers, or ewar cruisers for instance, until he gets up to speed.
